Published Aug 2, 2019

The National Independent Soccer Association (NISA) together with F.C. Golden StateTM announces its Los Angeles based club, the LA ForceTM, which will begin competition this fall in NISA's inaugural season, the NISA Showcase, taking the pitch in Rio Hondo Stadium.

LA ForceTM club owner Bob Friedland expressed his vision and enthusiasm for bringing professional soccer to his already successful legacy of Los Angeles based soccer development academy and clubs stating, "Playing soccer at the highest level and greatest opportunities for the players are the goals of the club. We are about hometown heroes, rising stars and playing the best game in the world! NISA will be a great place for most and a springboard for many."

Executive Director, Alex Lujan, echoed the sentiments, "We are thrilled to launch the LA ForceTM professional soccer club with NISA. F.C. Golden StateTM has been a dominant, player focused club for years with an outstanding reputation of excellence on and off the pitch...from youth to adult pro development. This is the natural evolution for the program and a perfect fit for the club and community.  The LA ForceTM will complete a clear pathway from amateur to professional soccer in Los Angeles."

The LA ForceTM will be holding trials Saturday, August 17. For details and sign-up, please visit the LA ForceTM website at https://www.losangelesforce.com/tryouts. For more of the latest, follow the LA Force here https://twitter.com/LosAngelesForce and https://www.facebook.com/LosAngelesForce.
